Contact EOR Australia about a hire in any state
Hardly any Australian hire is a generic case. Will NSW payroll tax at 5.45% apply to this salary? Which modern award covers the role, and does it add annual leave loading? What does Payday Super change about when super must reach the fund? When you contact EOR Australia, give us the role and the state and we answer for that employee.

Why trust us with an employee in Australia?
There is no Pty Ltd to register first. We sign the employment contract as employer of record, withhold PAYG and report each pay to the ATO through STP. You find and pick the candidate yourself.
Suited to small teams
Plenty of clients start with one or two people in Australia and keep them for years. The set-up is the same for a single engineer in Victoria as for a small sales team in NSW, and you can add or end hires as your plans change.
Fee and on-costs
EOR Australia charges from USD 560 per employee per month, which converted to about AUD 797 on 24 September 2026 (ECB reference rate). Employer on-costs sit above salary: 12% super, state payroll tax where it applies and workers’ compensation cover. For a Sydney hire on AUD 110,000 our 2026-27 example reaches AUD 130,284 a year.
Local rules we handle
Australia splits employment rules between Canberra and the states. Federal law sets the National Employment Standards, 12% super and PAYG withholding. Payroll tax, long service leave and workers’ compensation are state matters, and Queensland, Victoria, South Australia and the ACT license labour hire providers. Modern awards add pay rates, penalty rates and allowances by industry, so we check the award before an offer goes out.
Questions we take
Typical ones: how notice and redundancy pay work under the Fair Work Act 2009, whether a contractor ought to be an employee, what the AUD 190,100 high income threshold means for unfair dismissal, and what a Skills in Demand (subclass 482) visa involves.
The same contact throughout
Your first call is with a client success manager who stays with you after the hire starts, so you never explain the role, the salary history or your preferences twice.
Shaped around the employee
The employee’s situation changes what gets set up. A temporary visa holder may be taxed differently from a resident; someone over 45 with two years’ service gets an extra week of notice; a role under an award may carry penalty rates. We ask about these points early so the contract and payroll fit the person rather than a template.

HR expertise without an HR hire
Specific answers for Australian staff
Most HR software will tell you that Australia gives four weeks’ annual leave. It will not say whether the award for your role adds leave loading, or which public holidays fall in NSW this year. Our specialists answer those points for your employee in writing.
Your team deals with one client success manager, and your employee has a named payroll contact for payslips, leave balances and super.
- Leave, pay and super questions answered
- Salary or hours changes made in the next pay run
Hire without a Pty Ltd
Your candidate can join with us as employer of record, so you start without registering a company with ASIC.
Send the role, state, salary and start date. In return you receive AUD on-cost figures, the notice terms that apply and a draft timeline to the first payday.
