Best EOR
provider in Australia: what to ask
A capable provider for Australian hires answers three things without hesitation: how Payday Super contributions reach funds inside the 7 business day limit, which modern award and classification cover the role, and whether labour hire licensing in Queensland, Victoria, South Australia or the ACT touches your arrangement. This guide lists the questions to ask, compares published fees and sets out what EOR Australia does as employer of record for your Australian hire.

Duties we take on as your hire’s employer
Each item below is a legal obligation of an Australian employer, handled by us for your hire.
- Withholding PAYG tax each pay under the ATO’s Schedule 1 formulas and passing it to the ATO
- Paying the 12% super guarantee on qualifying earnings so it reaches the fund within 7 business days
- Sending the ATO a Single Touch Payroll Phase 2 lodgement every pay run
- Giving the Fair Work Information Statement to each new employee when employment starts
- Applying the right modern award, classification and minimum rates from 1 July 2026
- Paying state payroll tax on the hire’s wages where the employer’s grouped wages exceed the threshold
- Insuring the hire for workers’ compensation under the state scheme, e.g. icare
- Accruing 4 weeks’ annual leave and 10 days’ personal/carer’s leave

One named manager for every query.
When a payslip is questioned or a Payday Super deadline is close, you speak to Ben, your account director, who already knows your team, the award that applies and your pay cycle. He brings in Lachlan on payroll when figures need checking.
